We’re a small, close-knit team based at Finsensvej 6 in Frederiksberg. We thrive in an informal working environment shaped by humour and a strong sense of camaraderie.
Our ambition is to ensure high quality and strong ethics, and we aim to build personal, trust-based relationships with both customers and partners. And of course, we’ll always offer you a cup of coffee if you happen to stop by.
Stephan Viftrup
Managing Director & Senior Consultant
Stephan is passionate about helping charities raise even more funds through the smart use of digital tools. His key strength lies in optimisation and creating synergy across payment channels, systems and websites.
With an academic background in philosophy, politics and economics, Stephan has learned to approach challenges and positions from multiple angles. He brings this mindset into the digital landscape surrounding payments and conversion, where he works to find the right path for us, our customers and our partners.
Stephan grew up with volunteering and civil society as a natural part of everyday life, and he is keen to support organisations that solve important problems because their approach is stronger than what the public or private sector can offer. And when the time is right, Stephan is always happy to pull a well-chosen board game out of his bag to get some good social time going.
Kim Skytte Graae
Partner and Senior Consultant
With 18 years of experience, Kim is the agency’s seasoned fundraiser. He has a strong ability to analyse complex fundraising processes and uses this insight to create creative, innovative and effective campaigns that maximise returns and reduce member churn.
Kim is opportunity-driven, and that’s exactly why his campaigns work: he sees how a campaign is, at its core, an opportunity for the donor. He has focused on digital fundraising because he finds energy in helping organisations power their causes through digital channels.
Personally, Kim supports organisations that allow him to do something concrete and simple to address complex challenges — whether that’s donating a goat to help alleviate poverty or buying one square metre of Danish nature to protect biodiversity.
Christian Laugesen
Partner & COO
Christian is OnlineFundraising’s indispensable front-end developer. He’s responsible for the design, ongoing development and optimisation of OnlineFundraising’s web solutions.
With an academic background in theology and social entrepreneurship, and many years of volunteer experience across different organisations, it felt like a natural fit for Christian to work within the social economy. He goes the extra mile to support the many volunteers and professionals driving charitable and non-profit organisations, helping them succeed with digital fundraising so they can spend more time doing what they do best.
Personally, Christian supports patient associations that care for people he knows, as well as organisations working with people living on the streets and those facing mental health challenges.
The rest of us have to get up early to keep up with Christian — whether in lunchtime conversations or on the bike lane. He cycles fast and delivers jokes even faster.
Nikolaj Gammelmark
Team & Tech Lead
Gammelmark is the team’s Swiss Army knife — equally happy getting his hands into the code as into the business side of things. He helps ensure the team’s development projects run smoothly, while also keeping an eye on everyone’s wellbeing, both among his colleagues and in the world around him.
When Nikolaj isn’t working with sprints and deadlines, he volunteers his time supporting people who want to break free from addiction. His heart also beats especially for vulnerable children, and when he chooses to support a cause, it’s important to him to be able to see the real difference his contribution makes.
Nikolaj has a strong “can-do” attitude that he brings out regularly. He’s never afraid to take on a challenge — whether that’s solving complex development problems or stepping in as the entertainment at a party.
Mads Schou Olesen
Support Consultant & Multimedia Designer
As our sharp support consultant, Mads is the person who makes sure both new and existing customers get the help they need. With a background in multimedia design, he assists with everything from form setup to small miracles involving CSS and JavaScript.
Mads takes pride in helping organisations see their projects through to completion — and in ensuring that solutions match each customer’s style and needs. When supporting good causes himself, he often backs veterans’ associations or UNICEF, especially after a conversation with an enthusiastic street fundraiser.
Mads spends a fair amount of time at Parken, cheering on FC Copenhagen. And his time in the Royal Life Guards has clearly left its mark: he can recognise every national flag in the world in a split second and solve a Rubik’s Cube in an impressive 42 seconds.
Julie Borch-Christensen
PA & Office Manager
With a background as a designer, Julie has a keen eye for structure, detail, and maintaining a strong overview – skills that are actively put to use today in her work at OnlineFundraising. Although her career path has taken a new direction, her creative and systematic approach remains a vital part of her day-to-day work.
At OnlineFundraising, Julie is responsible for planning and coordinating both internal and external events – from initial concepts to final execution. In addition, she acts as an assistant to Director Stephan Viftrup, where structure and an excellent overview are crucial in a fast-paced environment.
Julie is also involved in onboarding new colleagues, coordinating performance reviews, and driving initiatives that strengthen well-being and collaboration. With her combination of organizational skills and a people-focused mindset, she ensures that both processes and employee experiences run optimally.
Julie thrives at the intersection of planning and execution and is motivated by making all the pieces fall into place – to the benefit of both colleagues and partners.
Ivan Abelmazov
Operations & Integrations Specialist
Ivan is our Integration Specialist, ensuring that all systems communicate seamlessly and perform optimally. Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Innovation, he combines business acumen with technical curiosity – a blend that makes him exceptionally skilled at finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
Ivan loves automating processes and never hesitates to leverage any tool that can make daily operations smarter and more efficient. He is Scrum-certified and thrives on working in a structured, agile manner across teams.
When he isn’t bridging the gap between systems, you’ll find him travelling, at the local pool, or going for long walks, always with fresh ideas brewing in the back of his mind.
Immanuel Storm Lokzinsky
Frontend Developer
Immanuel is one of the key players on our front-end team, where he works to optimise and refine the architecture of our web solutions. With a background in computer science and software development, Immanuel takes pride in being an important piece of the OnlineFundraising puzzle.
As an NGO enthusiast, it’s important to Immanuel to work somewhere that fights for a greater cause. He also puts his skills to use as a volunteer and is active with Save the Children Youth. He’s never shy about meeting new people and often takes part in events organised by Jewish Youth organisations.
When Immanuel chooses to support an organisation or cause, having a personal interest and understanding of the issue matters to him. He has a strong interest in politics and international relations, and most recently has focused his energy on supporting those affected by the war in Ukraine.
The observant reader may have noticed Immanuel’s Polish-sounding surname — but despite the name, he actually has no Polish roots.
Jacob Falk
Frontend Developer
Jacob is our front-end developer and the team’s UX master, making sure everything not only works flawlessly but also looks great. With a background as a graphic designer and a self-taught developer, he has a unique ability to bring design and functionality together — giving our customers the best possible user experience.
Jacob enjoys being part of a team where everyone works together to move things forward. What really drives him is seeing his solutions make a tangible difference for organisations working with important causes. Environmental organisations and initiatives that help people in need are particularly close to his heart, and those are typically the causes he chooses to support.
When Jacob isn’t juggling code and design, you’ll find him in Nørrebro with his partner and their French bulldog, Buddha. He also once had a guinea pig named Holger — but that’s a story for another time. Jacob is a lover of art, film and live music, with a small but carefully curated vinyl collection. When time allows, he also enjoys diving into board games, video games or painting miniatures.
Simon Petersen
Frontend Developer
Simon is a self-taught frontend developer – “with a capital S”, as he says himself. He has been coding since the age of 13 and is passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems.
In his day-to-day work, he strives to continuously improve the products, motivated by the knowledge that his work creates value for charitable organisations and ultimately helps make the world a better place.
Simon enjoys spending time in nature with his family, whether sea fishing along the coast or going on trips in the family boat. In his spare time, he also works on game development and modding – and once even won first prize for “Best Level Design” in a game engine competition.
As a father of two, his heart beats especially for organisations working to give children the best possible opportunities in life.
Nikolaj Rasmussen
Senior Backend Developer
Christian Jensen
Backend Developer
Christian has a solid academic background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development and a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in cryptography from the IT University of Copenhagen.
He has a particular interest in algorithms and strives every day to develop his skills as a programmer. Christian’s long-term dream is either to immerse himself further through a PhD or to work more fluidly in a specialised role with algorithms – a goal that serves as a central driving force in his work.
In his spare time, he indulges his nerdy interests, where Dungeons & Dragons, esports, and gaming take up a lot of his time.
William Holberg
Backend Developer
With a bachelor’s degree in Software Technology from DTU, William brings a strong foundation to his role as a backend developer at OnlineFundraising.
William takes great pride in his work and is driven by making it as seamless as possible for various organizations to receive donations and, ultimately, carry out their charitable work.
He thrives in new challenges every day. Facing continuous new problem-sets strengthens his professional skills, motivating him to keep learning and developing.
Although work and hobbies often overlap for William, he happily shifts his focus to the kitchen once the screen closes. With a passion for cooking – which he likes to call ‘simple chemistry’ – he spends a lot of his free time at the stove. Beyond his culinary pursuits, he enjoys spending time with his colleagues, which includes gathering around board games or for several rounds of Dungeons & Dragons; a popular favorite here at OnlineFundraising.
Sami Majdoub
Backend Developer
As a Platform Engineer, Sami is responsible for ensuring that our systems run stably, securely, and efficiently. He manages everything that keeps the technology behind the solutions running smoothly, from operations, deployment, and monitoring to architecture, automation, and continuously improving the daily lives of our developers.
With 10 years of experience in software development, Sami has a practical eye for ensuring technical solutions are robust for clients, while believing it is just as important that they are easy for the team to build upon.
For Sami, the motivation comes from working in a place where technology isn’t just about code and infrastructure, but about supporting organisations that make a difference.
When the computer is shut down, Sami spends most of his time with his family, and can usually be found on a football pitch with his son or in a gymnastics hall with his daughter.
Julie Sørensen
Quality Assurance Tester
Betina Hasforth
Senior Fundraising Consultant
Betina enjoys bridging the gap between grand visions and the technical solutions that make them a reality. Her goal is to ensure that technology and data work in harmony, allowing data to flow seamlessly between systems – because that is the only way to boost fundraising results.
With a background as a CRM Manager at various organisations, Betina has a keen eye for data, segmentation, retention, and, not least, data quality.
When Betina is not at work, she loves to immerse herself in a good social-realist novel. Her interest in marginalised groups is also reflected in the causes she passionately supports.
Mette Hebst
Product Owner
Mette’s qualifications include project management and multiple Scrum certifications, and she has extensive experience in product management within the financial sector and the payments industry.
As a Product Owner, she is responsible for prioritising and developing both customer-facing and technical implementations on the application, making life easier for fundraisers. She ensures forward momentum and high-quality solutions, acting as a vital link between business and technology.
Mette’s motto is “fail faster”, meaning that you have to dare to jump in at the deep end once in a while to test whether solutions actually hold up. Alongside her colleagues, she strives to help make the world a better place by delivering valuable infrastructural services to clients, thereby supporting charitable causes. For her, it is essential that the journey is fun and motivating, and that everyone has a voice and a sense of ownership over what is being built. This is deeply ingrained in her DNA, and she is highly engaged in work processes, finding smarter ways of doing things, and ensuring that everyone remains motivated and involved.
Mette is relatively new to the non-profit sector, but privately supports various charitable causes – particularly those improving animal welfare, as she has a big heart for animals. Consequently, she spends most of her spare time in the stables, on horseback, or competing with her horse, while also occasionally enjoying a round of golf with her husband.
